Why You Can’t Stop Overthinking, Overworking and Overriding Yourself (And What To Do About It)

A 4-week live class to find what’s keeping you stuck, and take your first step out.

Being told to stop has never worked on you. You nod, you agree, and you keep going, because of what stopping would mean about you.

What clients say

From my one-to-one Reset sessions and mini retreat.

It was a breakthrough just to begin.

M.S.

One being my house, it sold last night.

It’s the same class.

In person: Tuesday evenings
Nov 17 to Dec 8, 7:00 to 8:00 pm
2026 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough. Free parking.
Limited to 10 spaces.
For women who work days.

If this is you, this class is for you.

You overthink

  • You replay decisions long after they’re made
  • You run through your to-do list over and over just before bed
  • You second-guess your wants and needs

You overwork

  • You feel guilty when you rest or get sick
  • You call yourself a workaholic
  • You take your laptop on vacation
  • You check your email outside work hours and answer the “urgent” ones

You override

  • You keep saying yes and run on empty
  • You put yourself last
  • You know you can take a break but don’t

Tell me to stop, and I will prove you wrong.

Burnout doesn’t happen to me. I’m a strong, independent, high-achieving woman. If I stop, say enough, or ask for help, wouldn’t that mean that I’m weak, lazy, dependent?

My answer: you can still be all those things without running yourself into the ground.

62%
of mothers say they need permission to prioritize their own sleep without guilt (Naturepedic and Wakefield Research, 2026)
39%
of Canadian women who quit say stress or burnout was the reason (The Prosperity Project, 2023).
47%
of Canadian workers experience burnout (Robert Half, 2025)

What you leave with

Tools you can use the same day

One for each pattern: closing a decision, stopping at enough and holding a boundary.

Where you get stuck, and your next step

See what keeps you running, and leave knowing what to do next.

Honest expectations:

This class gives you the first two steps: seeing what’s happening and tools to start changing it. Resolving a pattern at its root is the work of a Reset, and the class shows you whether that’s your next step. If you book a Reset within 7 days of your last class, your $79 is credited toward it.

What happens each week

Week 1: Overthinking. Close the loop.

See what’s keeping the loop running, and practise one tool to close a decision.

Week 2: Overworking. Stop at enough.

See what keeps you pushing past enough, and practise one tool to stop at enough.

Week 3: Overriding. Hold the boundary.

Notice when you’re overriding your own signals, and practise one tool to communicate and hold a healthy boundary.

Week 4: Putting it together.

Bring the three tools into one routine, and leave with your next step.

What changes

From my one-to-one Reset sessions and mini retreat.
